Born in Torrance, California, I spent my early years in Marina, a small city in Monterey County, where I developed a deep passion for baseball. Playing on competitive travel teams not only shaped my love for the game but also gave me the opportunity to explore the country. After graduating from Seaside High School in 2008, I returned to Torrance, the city where my family’s roots run deep, to pursue my dreams of playing baseball at Los Angeles Harbor College.
During my time at Harbor College, I earned an associate’s degree in Health & Fitness and gained valuable lessons about discipline and perseverance. Although an arm injury ultimately sidelined my baseball aspirations, it opened the door to a new calling. Inspired by a mentor who served as a police officer, I discovered a passion for service and community protection.
In 2013, I graduated from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Police Academy and began my career as a police officer in Gardena. After three years, I transferred to Torrance, a place with personal significance as both my birthplace and a city my family has long called home.
In 2019, I married my wife, Kristina, and our lives took a joyful turn with the arrival of our daughters, Emiko and Mei, in 2019 and 2021. Their births shifted my perspective and ignited a desire to create a brighter future for my family. That desire led us to South Orange County, where we fell in love with Laguna Beach and its vibrant community. In 2021, I transitioned into a new role with the City of Laguna Beach and began a new chapter with Kristina, purchasing our first home in Rancho Santa Margarita.
Life brought both blessings and challenges. Kristina faced a significant medical emergency in 2022, but her resilience and dedication to our family inspired me daily. Shortly after, my father was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2023. His journey was a profound reminder of the value of relationships, meaningful connections, and making every moment count. Thankfully, through determination and treatment, he is now cancer-free and living life to its fullest.
These experiences motivated me to follow my passion for helping others in new ways. Real estate became a natural next step—a career that allows me to connect with people, build relationships, and help families like mine find their perfect home.
